Kanwal Rafiq is a dedicated Operation Theatre Technologist. She is currently working as a Senior Lecturer in Shalamar School of Allied Health Sciences, Lahore. She completed her BS (Hons) in Operation Theatre Technology from King Edward Medical University, Lahore, where she secured third position, She pursued an MS in Health Administration at Punjab University, Lahore, from 2022 to 2024 as part of her continued academic development.Her educational accomplishments highlight her ambition for academic achievement and her unwavering commitment for the medical science profession.

She completed her internal training in Mayo Hospital in Lahore, where she obtained a great deal of practical experience.  She has also completed internships at several hospitals, such as Mayo Hospital and Mian Munshi Hospital, to gain clinical skills in her specialty.
She started her academic career at Superior University in Lahore as a Lecturer in November 2021 and left in February 2024. She had a significant influence on how her students’ educational experiences were shaped at this vital time. Her duties included instructing a wide range of classes that encouraged students’ critical thinking and intellectual curiosity in addition to imparting necessary knowledge. Together with her teaching responsibilities, she also carefully managed PBL and ETTP projects, significantly improved the curriculum, and managed the examination responsibilities of the department.
